Project EVERSIO has given Malta’s esports scene a real moment to be proud of, securing promotion to ESEA Intermediate and becoming the first Maltese core Counter-Strike 2 team to reach this level in one of the most competitive league systems in esports.
At GamingMalta we’re all immensely proud to support this grassroots talent, and we congratulate them for this important achievement, a strong testament to the discipline, consistency and competitive standard of this team.
This isn’t Project Eversio’s first major achievement – earlier this year the team was also featured in the final game of the BLASTroots event at the BLAST Studio Arena, The event was part of a wider commitment to supporting grassroots esports by creating meaningful competitive opportunities for emerging teams, an ethos that GamingMalta proudly shares by helping create the conditions for local esports talent to grow and compete.
With Malta Vision 2050 pointing towards stronger investment in digital talent and forward-looking industries, milestones like this show what becomes possible when local players are given the right platform to grow and to compete internationally.
