GamingMalta congratulates cView Studios from our base_camp as the team reached an important milestone with the February release of Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown.
The title successfully launched globally across PC and console on the 18th of February, selling over 100,000 copies during the first weekend. Acting as a key partner under lead developer gameXcite, cView Studios delivered a majority of the 3D graphics production and contributed with localisation support.
Based in Malta, cView Studios has built a strong reputation in 2D and 3D art, visual development and in-game graphics. From its base at base_camp in Żejtun, GamingMalta’s incubator space, the studio has grown its capabilities while collaborating with international partners on large-scale projects.
cView Studios’ journey reflects the ambition behind the Make it in Malta campaign, which promotes Malta as a place where creative and technical talent can build careers and deliver global work. By providing infrastructure, sector access and long-term support, GamingMalta continues to create the conditions for studios to establish themselves and scale from Malta.
