GamingMalta acknowledges the recent announcement, after a strategic review of its White Label business, by Aristocrat Interactive regarding the wind-down of its White Label operations in all jurisdictions across the globe, subject to regulatory requirements, and the potential impact to Aristocrat employees based in Malta.
We are actively engaging with the company’s leadership team, as well as key government stakeholders, to support the individuals affected during this transition. Our priority is to help facilitate opportunities for these professionals to be redeployed within Malta’s broader gaming and digital ecosystem.
We have confirmation of approximately 1,200 open vacancies with Malta Gaming Authority licensees, besides additional openings with other ancillary companies not operating with an MGA license. These figures give us the peace of mind that Malta’s iGaming sector remains one of the country’s strongest and most resilient economic pillars, supported by a mature regulatory framework under the Malta Gaming Authority and a highly skilled workforce.
The professionals impacted bring valuable expertise from operating in highly regulated markets, and we are confident that Malta’s thriving gaming industry will present fresh opportunities as demand for experienced talent across compliance, payments, customer operations, and technology functions continues to be strong.
The GamingMalta team is committed to offer full support during this transition and we will continue to work closely with industry partners to ensure that Malta remains not just a hub, but a home for gaming excellence – supporting both companies and talent alike.
We encourage companies currently seeking experienced professionals to engage with us as we help connect talent with opportunity.
