BLAST Roots Returns with Malta’s Top Counter-Strike Teams Ready to Compete

BLAST Roots is under way, bringing Malta’s grassroots Counter-Strike talent into a professional esports environment. The action kicks off with two teams that have already left a strong mark.

Reigning champions CEPE6PO return after taking this year’s BLAST Roots S1 title, and they now have the chance to defend their crown and prove they remain the team to beat.

Project EVERSIO arrive following their historic promotion to ESEA Intermediate,  a first for a Maltese-grown CS2 team. Their progress reflects the growing ambition and competitive strength of Malta’s esports community, embodying the ethos of Malta Vision 2050.

With a €1,000 prize pool at stake, both teams will test their skills at the BLAST Studio Arena in Ta’ Qali.
