GamingMalta CEO Joins EIT Malta Launch to Discuss Investment in Creative Ventures

GamingMalta CEO Ivan Filletti joined a line-up of local and international experts at the EIT Culture & Creativity Malta Office Launch, which took place on March 23 at Esplora Planetarium Hall, Villa Bighi, Kalkara.

The event brought together policymakers, innovation leaders, cultural stakeholders, and finance specialists to discuss the future of culture and creative ventures in Malta. Following the launch of the Malta office and a stakeholders workshop, Ivan took part in the afternoon session: ‘Unlocking capital for culture and creative ventures in Malta’ alongside other expert speakers.

As the immersive technology space continued to gain strength in Malta, this discussion around capital for creative ventures formed part of a wider conversation about how the country supports digital growth, in line with the principles established by Vision 2050. Some of the most notable investment opportunities were found where creative thinking met digital technology, including interactive products, game development, and new tools built around innovation.

GamingMalta remained committed to driving the conversation around investment in gaming, immersive tech, and other innovation-led sectors, with the goal of contributing to Malta’s broader digital and creative growth.
