MDIA Future Innovators Students Visit GamingMalta’s base_camp

GamingMalta’s base_camp recently welcomed students from the Future Innovators and Future Innovators Plus Summer Camps. The visit offered a first-hand look at the work, ideas and opportunities shaping Malta’s tech and digital sectors.

During their time at base_camp, students had the opportunity to learn more about the companies and professionals working across the industry, explore different career paths and gain a clearer picture of how Malta’s wider digital ecosystem is evolving.

The summer camps, organised by MDIA with the support of MCAST, are designed to introduce secondary school students to emerging technologies through hands-on learning and educational visits.

Creating these early connections between students and industry is an important part of strengthening Malta’s future talent pipeline. It also reflects the wider direction set out in Malta Vision 2050, where skills, innovation and the development of a future-ready workforce are central to Malta’s long-term economic growth.

A big thank you to the students and organisers for spending time with us at base_camp.
